With the great unlocking now underway and the vaccine roll out making such huge strides we hoped the summer would bring us some cheer, we are however still experiencing long COVID!

One of the most significant impacts of the pandemic is how it is affecting the supply chain for many, previously easily obtainable items.

We are very fortunate at Anglo American to have a fabulous team of contractors who have worked with us for many years, all of them ultra-reliable, trustworthy and conscientious. Whilst we are still able to deal with a lot of the minor issues and niggles that you may have, the team are struggling to source supplies of items as diverse as toilet seats to fencing materials. In some case items are out of stock, no idea of when they will be available and almost more difficult, no idea of pricing. This is turn makes it difficult to offer a quote to a landlord so that a decision can be made ahead of the stock being available.

We will continue to do as much as we can within the constraints that we find and ask that you all bear with us for a little longer until manufacturers and sellers are able to get their shelves fully stocked again.

Another issue that is happening more and more often is access in and out of your homes having to be postponed, last week alone we had 9 appointments cancelled due to tenants self-isolating.

As a result, we still need to operate with caution and request your assistance in doing so, we would find it impossible to do our jobs and honour our obligations to you all if we were at home isolating. We therefore request you inform us if you are at home isolating or have symptoms and cooperate with any polite request from ourselves or our contractors with regards to social distancing.
