Who are you going to call….Why us of course!
One question tenants ask when they first move in, is “what do we do if anything goes wrong, who should we call?”.
Now, contrary to popular belief, the answer is not Ghostbusters. In fact, they call us, whatever the time, whatever the day. We have an out of hours 24/7 telephone line for tenants to use if they are worried about something and not sure if it can wait until the office opens.
Whoever answers the call will make a decision as to what needs to be done and how quickly, if necessary one of us will attend or if more specialist knowledge is needed we can always call one of our team of trusted contractors to attend. By offering this service we are usually able to prevent small dramas from turning into major catastrophes!
Examples of things that shouldn’t be ignored are escapes of water, loss of heating and/or hot water or theft/loss of house keys. By being able to speak to us we can reassure the tenant and make sure they are never left wondering what to do for the best.
Below are some numbers you may find helpful:

Loss of electricity 105
Anglian Water emergency line 0800 771881

Urgent Out of Hours Number – 01908 321819
If you have an urgent out of hours emergency that doesn’t fit one of the above, please call our office on 01908 321819, you will be given a mobile number to call who will be able to offer advice or arrange for someone to call.
Please note, details of the locations of your stop clock, fuse box and energy meters are listed at the bottom of the inventory you were given on the date you moved in, we also showed you the location of these when we checked you in. If you are unsure of their locations or you cant find your inventory please ask us, we would expect that in an emergency you would be able to isolate the supply if required to do so.
Please note that the emergency mobile number, whilst always available, may take a short while longer to answer over the Xmas holiday period, do not worry if you don’t get an immediate response, we will get back to you shortly.
