It has become impossible to ignore the potential threat Coronavirus may have, not just on our health, but our ability to go about our day to day business in the coming weeks.

We are prepared. Should the situation deteriorate we have the ability to conduct business as usual from our own homes. Banking, accounts and communication will not be affected.

A large part of our obligations to both tenants and landlords involves access into your homes and houses. Technology allows us to conduct virtual viewing for the properties we are marketing but we and our contractors may still need to visit properties. We have a legal obligation to conduct gas safety checks, EPC’s and maintenance as required.

We also have a duty of care to ensure the safety of all parties, tenants, contractors and ourselves. If access into your home is required you will now be asked if anyone in the household is at risk, in isolation or ill. Should that be the case we will, in each instance, determine what is the best way forward to minimize any risk to yourselves, our maintenance contractors and ourselves.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during what is a very worrying time for us all. Rest assured, we will continue to do our best to keep you all safe and happy in your home. As always, please feel free to call or email us with any questions about this or any other concerns. We appreciate your assistance in advance during these uncertain times and we wish good health to you all.
